So, I was totally watching The Practice tonight because it was recommended to me by some awesome people and duh I couldn't refuse because the lovely Kelli Williams is in it, and I love her. &hearts Anyways, it's a pretty good show and I'm totally getting into it. I've already watched the entire first season, thank goodness for being on break and not having much to do, haha. At first I was like, ok, it's a pretty good show and I'd heard of it before, but ZOMG tonight I watched the second season ep Sex, Lies, and Monkeys and had a damn near heart attack! Kelli Williams is a goddess, seriously! She totally freaked me out in it at the end. Putting the rest under a cut because spoilers and all (even thought it's an old show but some people might not have seen it).

"The video below is a short film focusing on the Joyful Heart Foundation. I'm sure everyone here has seen and loved Olivia Benson kick ass on SVU - the actress, Mariska Hargitay, created this foundation back in 2004. I realize that this video is quite long (about 22 minutes), but this is an issue that is not discussed enough. Whenever I bring up the JHF, I always add in the fact that every two minutes, someone is sexually abused.
I highly suggest you watch this video, even if you only watch a few minutes. It is quite inspirational if you are affected by it, and educational if you do not know much about the foundation and sexual abuse. Most of all, spread awareness by reposting it on your lj. - Evanescence. I think they have a nice mix of rock and ballad type songs. My favorite song of theirs would probably have to be Like You from their The Open Door album
- Within Temptation. Sort of the same as Evanescence, although I'd say they're more like Nightwish. Their songs are truly epic. I'm in love with them and they utilize some instruments that one wouldn't normally think of like in the song Mother Earth from their Mother Earth album.
- Franz Ferdinand. If you're looking for some fun dance music then they're it. You just can't help but sing along and dance along to their music. Love them.
- Snow Patrol. What more is there to say really? They just pwn in terms of Brit bands.
- And if I mention Snow Patrol then I have to throw Coldplay in there too because their piano pieces are just brilliant.

If you want to learn more about me, then read my profile and stuff, if you don't that's cool with me too. I don't know how much time I'll be spending here what with being in college and being totally obsessed with Huddy (that's House and Cuddy for you non-House watchers), but I'll try to remember to make some entries from time to time. Hopefully, I'll have some friends (Tiara) who can nudge me to post if it gets a little too quiet.
I wouldn't say I'm that interesting of a person, I think I'm mainly just weird. So to start I'm gonna post some of the icons that I've made to get some interest going I guess. Feel free to use them, just some credit would be nice. I wouldn't say they're great, but I like them and that's all that matters. More to come later...hopefully.
